When the model looks like this, make two squash folds as you did on the other side. Flip the model over.

Make a valley fold, once again hiding the bottom layers beneath the top ones.

Make the base of the box with this fold. It involves all the layers of the sheet. Crease the fold firmly with the back of your thumbnail.

Fold the top white flap up as far as it will go. Repeat the same fold on the bottom flap.

This move is called a “book fold.” Flip through the model as with the pages of a book. The symmetry of the model must be the same, so that what is done above must also be done below. Make a valley fold to bring the left part over the right one. Repeat with the bottom section, bringing the right part over the left.
